Merry Christmas!

Yikes, it's been a month again. Hopefully I will update soon! Until then, here is a "sneak peek" at our Christmas cards... Yes, a sneak peek, because I finally just ordered them this week, so my blog readers get to see our card before everyone else this year!

Hope your Christmas was filled with blessings and joy!

Psalm 98

Oh sing to the Lord a new song for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.

The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody!

 With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
the world and those who dwell in it!

 Let the rivers clap their hands;
let the hills sing for joy together

before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

October Recap...

I guess that's how it is these days. Bi-monthly updates...
Life has been crazy busy these days. For a while we had visitors every weekend, and school/life has been a bit overwhelming the rest of the time. Maybe one day it will slow down; I don't know if I'm being a pessimist or a realist, but I doubt it will happen before Christmas. Hopefully I can at least hit November during this month!

Here are a few pictures from the month. And morning basketball (how you entertain a toddler that enjoys waking up at 6-630am...)

Soccer season ended.

Family and friends came to visit.

Lots of Sleeping Queens going on for whomever Aiden can get to play.

Delivered produce through a family from church.

And presents from a honorary teacher in Phoenix.

My cousin passed away unexpectedly. So it was a bittersweet family reunion in Ohio.

 And God was gracious to make the trip out solo with four little ones a breeze. But my mom helped me drive back, and stayed for a couple more days.

Lots of memorization going on with CC... Usually with many distractions. :)

And a toddler likes to wake up around 630am... He usually finds various ways to entertain himself. :)

Our lives... a July, August and September recap :)

So I haven't updated in a looooooooooooong time. And I don't really have the time now. So here is our past three months in a quick(er) fashion!

 Bulls Game. Had TOA suite tickets... that's the way to do it!

 Danya's nephew Dominic hung out with us for two weeks.

 OBX with Botsford seniors 2014.

 Family Field Trip to Nags Head FD... perks of your daddy getting to know a fireman.

 Enjoyed NC beaches- even despite shark attacks.

 Wright memorial- didn't get to spend enough time here!

 USS North Carolina- with the model battleship given by Dr. Alderidge.

 Mochi Ice cream.

 Celebrating Danya's bday with cake and truffles...

 ... they helped her build her present... and then were "indian givers"...

 Giving a goodbye present to Helen.

 Last day at IDC. We miss it and our GG a lot.

 Helen opened the doors for us early, and made us Vietnamese spring rolls before one last round of froyo.

 Blue Ridge Pkwy on our way back.

 Bowen managed to have a blowout every day on the road trip.

 Moving in.

 Lots of reading...

 Visited friends in MI and IL.

 Archaelogical digs in the septic field...

 CC fun... he loves it.

 And so do they!

 Auntie Katie finally came to visit us.

 Faith league soccer. The older two are in it.

Combine rides... a signal that fall has arrived.

And after being up on all fours for a month, rounding the corner from four-to-five months, he's starting to go after things he wants. Yikes!

... bet you wish all my posts were this succint ;)
