Virkler Thanksgiving/Christmas

Being a second year, Joel had to work part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. But since he did have Thursday/Friday off, we headed out to Remington after he got off of work late Wednesday night to have Thanksgiving and "Christmas" with his family! After church on Thursday we had lunch, relaxed and played games with Grandma Bahler and his cousins Janessa and Serena. We then headed over to the nursing home to visit Grandpa Bahler. We discovered that most every eating establishment is closed on Thanksgiving evening (even McDonalds!), but good ol' Steak and Shake saved the day!

On Friday, all of Joel's siblings came over and we had a little Christmas gathering. Unfortunately we had to leave early that evening and thus missed the big Bahler Thanksgiving. The trip was super short, but still sweet! :)
