Another Busy Weekend

We returned last weekend from yet another amazingly busy (but equally a blessing!) weekend (I'm starting to wonder if there is anything else then this)!! Saturday morning we headed out slightly later then planned (because Aiden decided to sleep in... yay!) to Leo, Indiana, where we mingled and caught up with friends we hadn't seen in a long time! That alongside chasing a toddler and pushing an infant in a stroller made for not too much time to bid, unfortunately... but I have dreams for next year! :) After the lovely cloudy and cool morning turned to a more intense hot and humid, we took our cue and headed to the Leo fellowship hall for Blake and Tashi's wedding reception. Unfortunately, we weren't able to chat too long with them before we were driving off to South Bend. Our original plans had been to hang with John and Amy for the evening (and Liam still hasn't quite forgiven us of ditching them yet again, as he continues to talk of John and Amy's house!!), but we did a switch that morning when we decided it would be the only opportunity to see Nate and Natalie before they moved to Phoenix... that and it was Nate's birthday!

We went to an amazingly yummy restaurant, where Joel was even able to order a gluten-free meal! The kids were watched by the grandparents, or in our case, Herbie, Laurie and Kristen :)

And the overly zealous waitress took a not so centered shot :) I'm not in the mood to photoshop with the other photo right now, and Joel's came out blurry, so you are stuck with half my face... but who wanted more anyways, right?!

We stayed with Craig and Rachel, and after church on Sunday, headed back up north.

Since there wasn't too much resting on Sunday, we decided Monday would be the pseudo-day of rest for everyone but my poor husband!
