My Chivalrous Children

I think the Lord has truly been merciful to me. It's not to say that we haven't had our moments. Because we have. Me especially. But from the time we dropped Joel off to meet his coworkers, we have been blessed by our wonderful friends to fill up our days with meals together, library play dates, afternoons away from home, etc.

I am so blessed. And so very thankful.

And the boys haven't been at each other nearly as much as usual either. They've been trying to be little helpers, because after all, they are "Mommy's knights". :) And of course, what do knights do?

They pick flowers for their Mommy.

(and even brought them over with the sled, so I wouldn't have to get my boots snowy ;)

Nevermind that maybe I should've cleared out all the debris last fall. Oh well. There were plenty of dead and dried flowers to be had by all. Even rosehips. ;) 

And of course they all smelled lovely and had to be placed in a glass vase. At least I was able to reason with them that these were special flowers that didn't need water anymore. :)
