My first week at home after the birth of Aiden, I had lots of help (I still do with my mom in town now, my dad coming in next week, and then my sister possibly coming for a visit!). Joel's mom arrived at the hospital about 15 minutes after I had given birth and was with me the rest of the week. My Aunt Jane also flew into town and stayed for a few nights. And of course, his very own Daddy was given the WHOLE week off by his senior residents!!! They took Liam on walks, usually twice a day to the parks, and played with him here at home. Lets just say that he misses them! He has pointed out on a few occasions "Gran-ma's chair", misses her music and the words "stroller", "park" and "slides" are usually followed by "Jane bye bye". He even told his hero, the guy that does the landscape work for a few houses in our neighborhood that Jane is the one that mows our lawn!
